I've used this lesson in many different lessons including PSHE, Business and Enterprise lessons to stimulate creativity in students - students really enjoy the exercises as well as staff! This is just the trial version - the full version is in my resources/shop.

Quite a simple presentation that goes through the recruitment process and the key documents

This is an interactive resource based on the old unit 3 specification. There are interactive questions, group tasks and hot key words built into it. The presentation can be used by both teacher and student if put on a public drive.

I've used this presentation for both the Applied A level course and the BTEC National course for Unit 3 introduction to marketing.

Its used in the classroom for individual and team quizzes. With the team quiz, students are given laminated cards to hold up in class. Students can also access it on their own computer if you have it installed on a shared space. It can also be used in lesson starters and plenaries. Very good for teaching and testing students business studies knowledge. This is a new lesson which I've done with a few groups and has proved to be very effective. The pupils need to read the article and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of having a mobile phone mast erected at their school, but halfway through the lesson it is advisable to change students perspective by telling them they have to represent different stakeholder groups e.g. one group could be students, another the 3G Management team. Good for teaching stakeholders.

The pupils need to read the article and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of having a nuclear plant next to their school, but halfway through the lesson it is advisable to change students perspective by telling them they have to represent different stakeholder groups. It has worked extremely well in the past and some students have actually thought the Nuclear plant was a genuine proposal, so it's a good idea to make it clear that it isn't true at the end of your lesson.
